Microsoft Windows Embedded Web Font Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

About

Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a remotely exploitable buffer overflow vulnerability. This is due to the failure of the software to properly check user-supplied input prior to copying it to a buffer.

This vulnerability allows remote hackers to execute machine code in the vulnerable software.

A hacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating or hosting a malicious website, and convincing a user to view the website, usually through an email link.
